Mortars, Jointing & Insulations

Mortars, Jointing & Insulations

Special rigid and rubber epoxies materials, designed to give the desired job results, for crack filling, restoration, leak stopping, jointing and insulations, in the metal, wood, concrete and cementitious surfaces and constructions, like tanks, pipes, plasters, stairs, floors, roofs, walls, benches, (..etc.). This materials is highly effective in there purpose of use, and applicable by the easiest application requirements.

Mortars, Jointing & Insulations section includes:

[3-A] - Mortars

  • Thick Repair & Filling Mortar
  • Fine Repair & Filling Mortar
  • Rubber Repair & Filling Mortar

Thick Repair & Filling Mortar :

  • Epoxy resin based concrete repair system, formulated from carefully selected epoxy resins, modified amine activators, and specially graded high crush strength aggregates.
  • Laid by trowel to provide an impervious, chemically resistant concrete repair with excellent resistance to mechanical damage.
  • Provides high strength, heavy duty, and fast setting repair thick mortar, with excellent resistance to mechanical damage and chemical attack.
  • Durable with excellent abrasion resistance and low maintenance costs.
  • Excellent resistance to a wide range of industrial chemicals and crude/refined oils.
  • Can be used with confidence by maintenance staff.
  • Eliminate potential sources of failure (non-shrink mortar).
  • Provides hygienic easily to clean surface.
  • To be applied to fix broken concrete parts.
  • Ideally suited for aggressive environments including chemical process areas, steelworks, food and drink manufacturing areas, dairies, plating shops, abattoirs, engineering shops, production lines, workshops and warehousing areas, (etc.).

Fine Repair & Filling Mortar :

  • Epoxy resin based concrete repair system, formulated from carefully selected epoxy resins, modified amine activators, and specially graded high crush strength aggregates.
  • Laid by trowel to provide an impervious, chemically resistant concrete repair with excellent resistance to mechanical damage.
  • Provides high strength, heavy duty, and fast setting fine repair mortar, with excellent resistance to mechanical damage and chemical attack.
  • To be applied for hair crack fixing at any thickness, from a feather edge to depth of 50 mm.
  • Ideally suited for aggressive environments including chemical process areas, steelworks, food and drink manufacturing areas, dairies, plating shops, abattoirs, engineering shops, production lines, workshops and warehousing areas, (etc.).

Rubber Repair & Filling Mortar :

  • Rubber repair & filling mortar epoxy.
  • Provides a rubberized, vibration absorption, anti-cracking repair & filling mortar.
  • High adhesion power, with excellent resistance to mechanical damage and chemical attack.
  • Hygienic mortar with excellent resistance to crude and refined oil.
  • Durable and low maintenance costs.
  • Ideally suited for aggressive, vibrated and non stable environments including chemical process areas, steelworks, cylinder gas filling areas, power planets, plat forms, marine and submarine units, trains and bus’s, sport courts, benches, (etc.).

[3-B] - Jointing & Insulation

  • Two part polysulphide Sealant
  • Deckjoint & Polyjoint Elastomeric Joint Sealants
  • Rubber Solvent Free Epoxy Jointing
  • Cool Tar Epoxy Coating

Two part Polysulphide Sealant :

  • For sealing construction, contraction and expansion joints in concrete slabs, water retaining structures, sewage treatment works, retaining walls and commercial buildings.
  • Can accommodate 35% cyclic movement.
  • Has excellent adhesion properties to all concrete and brickwork surfaces.
  • Can be used over a wide temperature range from -30oC to +70oC.
  • Very excellent for sewage treatment works and is highly resistant to weathering, ozone, ultra-violet light and chemical attack.
  • Highly resistant to attack by solvents, dilute acids, oils, alkalis and greases, as well as other solvents.

Deckjoint & Polyjoint Elastomeric Joint Sealants :

  • Pour-able sealant, designed for use in contraction and expansion joints in concrete, or chemical resistant seamless floor systems.
  • Cold curing materials requiring no heat during there application. The materials will set even at low atmospheric temperature and high humidity.
  • Retain toughness, elasticity and impervious nature under varying temperatures from 0-80oC.
  • Have excellent adhesion to various substrates such as concrete, brick, tile etc.
  • Have good chemical resistance. Resistance to solvents is limited. Hot water up to 80 degrees centigrade can be applied without impairing the properties of the joints sealants.
  • Elasticity is not affected by weathering conditions of ultra-violet light.
  • Self smoothing, eliminating the need for tooling to produce good joint appearance.

Rubber Solvent Free Epoxy Jointing :

  • Rubber solvent free epoxy Jointing.
  • Provides a rubberized, vibration absorption, anti-cracking jointing mortar.
  • High adhesion power, with excellent resistance to mechanical damage chemical attack, and crude/refined oil.
  • Durable and low maintenance costs.
  • Ideally suited for aggressive, vibrated and non stable environments including chemical process areas, steelworks, cylinder gas filling areas, power planets, plat forms, marine and submarine units, trains and bus’s, sport courts, benches, (etc.).
  • Used in contraction and expansion joints in industrial floors, decking and general concrete structures, where elongation and recovery properties are required.
  • Also ideal for use with chemical resistant floor finishes.
  • Suitable for external applications, having excellent weathering properties, to be used in car parks, standing areas and minor roadways.

Cool Tar Epoxy Coating :

  • A high build, abrasion and chemical resistant coating that provide outstanding protection for steel or concrete in harsh environments.
  • Suitable for sustained immersion in fresh or salt water and certain other industrial chemicals.
  • Not suitable for potable water use.
  • Rust inhibitive primer is recommended for steel surfaces where superior corrosion resistance is required.
  • Typical areas of use are ship hulls, pilings, tank exteriors (above and below grade,) process equipment, clarifiers and other areas where maximum resistance to corrosion and abrasion are required.
